You’ll feel right at home with us at Tennsee. In addition to the stunning landscape surrounding the park, we offer a wide range of amenities that can easily turn your caravan or motorhome into a five-star hotel! For example, we bring all essential utility connections directly to your vehicle: our compact supply pillars provide everything you need for a comfortable stay. As you can already see from this map, the Alpen-Caravanpark Tennsee is a spacious, partially terraced site. On two sides, a stream and the “Tennsee” border the park, while to the east, the rolling “Buckelwiesen” meadows rise with their unique Alpine flora.

The "Tennsee" is a biotope.
By the way – to avoid misunderstandings: The "Tennsee" is a natural biotope that can temporarily dry up depending on weather conditions and precipitation.
In the immediate vicinity, there are numerous beautiful mountain lakes that are also excellent for swimming. To the west of the site, the B2 road from Garmisch-Partenkirchen to Mittenwald runs about 1/2 km away. Close enough for convenient transport connections, even in winter, yet not right by the road! We present the facilities of our site on this page. You can be sure: your high expectations will be met.
The ST-TOI disposal station
As an innovative, environmentally conscious, and modern campsite and motorhome harbor, Alpen-Caravanpark Tennsee offers its guests a self-developed and patented world first: the ST-TOI disposal station. Armin Zick, senior head of Alpen-Caravanpark Tennsee, is known for never running out of ideas: his concept was to develop a year-round, odor-free, environmentally friendly, and easy-to-use disposal station for cassette toilets of caravans and motorhomes. After three years of planning, it has now been used for six months by guests—especially by the ladies—with complete satisfaction. On the 60th anniversary of Alpen-Caravanpark Tennsee, Armin Zick is now presenting his successful creation to the public in an illustrative way. Camping park pioneer Armin Zick sees the combination of his development and “odor-free disposal at the campsite” as the ideal mix to bring about a paradigm shift in the mobile toilet sector. A completely odor-free camping vehicle and odor-free disposal at the campsite “without the use of environmentally harmful chemicals” is now the vision and certainly the wish of many environmentally conscious camping enthusiasts.
