The Arrival is possible until 6 p.m. . If you arrive later, please contact us by phone until 6 p.m. on 0049 8825170. The lunch break is from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., during which it is not possible to drive in.
Our restaurant is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. . Tuesday is rest day. We offer hot meals from 12:00-2:30 p.m. and 6:00-9:00 p.m. , otherwise there are homemade cakes, ice cream and a snack menu. We recommend a table reservation for the evening 0049 8825 17224.
Our restaurant is closed from April 15, 2024 to April 30, 2024.
Our campsite is closed from November 3rd, 2024 to December 15th, 2024.

Welcome to the Alpen-Caravanpark Tennsee
Relax in one of the most beautiful holiday destinations in the Bavarian Alps under Karwendel and Wetterstein. On our campsite and motorhome park at the Lake Tennsee you can enjoy fresh air, unspoiled natural surroundings and the panoramic view of majestic mountain peaks. Quiet mountain lakes, alpine pastures and the legendary Buckelwiesen are your immediate neighbours. You can create an active holiday with hiking, biking, cross country and downhill skiing, but also enjoy quiet hours. We are looking forward to your visit.

Key facts at a glance …
- Check-in is from 2:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the reception. If you arrive later, please contact us by phone until 6 p.m. on 0049 8825170.
- Check-out is for the campsite until 12:00 p.m. and for the apartments until 10:00 a.m. .
- Size of our pitches: area A1 approx. 90-100 square meters, area A2 approx. 70-90 square meters, area B1 approx. 70-80 square meters, area B2 approx. 60-70 square meters, area Himmelreich approx. 90-120 square meters, motorhome area approx. 65 square meters.
- Electricity is billed according to consumption (per kWh)
- Dogs: a maximum of 3 dogs per pitch are allowed. Dogs are not allowed in our apartments.
- The bus connection in the directions of Krün, Wallgau, Mittenwald, Garmisch, Walchensee and Kochen am See are free of charge for all our guest with the Alpenwelt Card.
- The Tennsee is a biotope that can occasionally dry out, depending on the weather and precipitation. There are the Grubsee and the Barmsee nearby, where you can swim.
- We have hot meals from 12 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. and from 6p.m. to 9p.m. . In the afternoon, from 2:30 p.m. to 6p.m. , we offer homemade cakes, coffee and a snack menu.
- We have 4 apartments with a balcony for a maximum of two people (pets are not allowed) and one apartment without a balcony for a maximum of three people. The apartments are in the first floor.
- Gas is available in our Tennsee Shop. We have the gray gas bottles in 5 and 11kg in exchange.
- Senior rate: either a partner is 60+ or you have a pension certificate

For your wellbeing we offer a pleasant family atmosphere, well-equipped sanitary facilities and a stunning mountain landscape near the Zugspitze.The Karwendel Alpine region is ideal for mountain biking and cycling for “young and old”. Our motorhome park is exclusive and comfortable, all at a reasonable all-inclusive price. You can use all the facilities of the motorhome park and dispose your tanks of waste. Electricity is charged according to consumption. Your location outside of the campground gates means you remain flexible even during closing times.
